Q : ARE GIFT BOXES AVAILABLE ? A: ALL purchases are shipped in a cotton lined Gift Box, suitable for gift giving, at no extra cost.

Q: ARE CHARMS SOLDERED ON ? A: Most jewelers do not solder charms, as they are the most likely to become caught, endangering the wearer or the primary bracelet. Therefore, for your safety, our charms are not soldered, but are attached by extremely heavy 16 gauge "open" sterling silver rings. The rings are attached to specialized "charm hangers" on the bracelet, for greater safety. Under NORMAL wear, these rings will not open.

Q: WHAT IF AN ITEM BREAKS ? A: All items offered in this Webstore are constructed for strength and durability, under NORMAL wear. However, all items are to be regarded as FINE JEWLERY and should not be subjected to extreme forces, nor to harsh chemicals or abrasive substances.

In the unlikely circumstance that an item breaks, Heritage Hill will repair it, at no cost, for one year from purchase. Buyer will be responsible for shipping costs. Heritage Hill reserves the right to evaluate the item for potential negligent handling. Contact Heritage Hill for a return code, before returning for repair.

Q: HOW DO I PROTECT & CLEAN MY SILVER JEWELRY? A: The Silver sold by Heritage Hill is content .925% Silver or higher. When exposed to oxygen, ALL Silver will eventually tarnish, through oxidation. It is advisable to store Silver pieces in an "air-tight" jewelry box, to avoid unnecessay oxidation. Clean any tarnish with a soft "Jeweler's Cloth". Never submerge jewelry in liquid cleaner. Allow hair spray or perfume to dry before putting on jewelry. Do not wear your jewelry while bathing or swimming. Avoid abrasive substances and keep pieces separate to avoid scratch marks.

Q: WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES IN 14K GOLD ? A: Our Gold items are either pure 14K Gold, or 14K Gold Filled. "Gold Filled" items chemically COMBINE 14K Gold with a heavier metal, producing a much more durable item than "Gold Plated", which is only a surface coating. Our "gold filled" items are limited to the round beads used in bracelets, and are labeled as such. The gold Charms, Pendants and Brooches offered are all pure 14K Gold.

Q: WHAT ARE STANDARD NECKLACE LENGTHS ? A: A CHOKER necklace is about 16 inches and hangs high around the neck. A PRINCESS necklace is about 18 inches and hangs just below the collarbone. A MATINEE LENGTH necklace is 22 to 24 inches and extends to the breast area. An OPERA LENGTH necklace is 28 or more inches. A ROPE necklace is 40 inches or more and can be worn long or wrapped to create a double or triple choker. A LARIAT necklace is as long as a ROPE, but is unattached at one end, allowing the wearer to tie and knot it as desired.
